Murray Family - Mary and William Carrick (Second generation)

James and Agnes's first child and eldest daughter, Mary was born in 1870. In 1896, aged 26, Mary married William McDowall Carrick (1872-1923). William lost both his parent at a very young age.

Mary and William often provided the music for dances around the area possibly how they meet.

From 1896 - 1900 Mary and William farm in Waipahi. They move to Port Molyneux sometime before 1905 and are still farm there in 1919. I can not find any records of children.


In 1923 at the young age of 51 William dies (d.1923/9647).


Seven years later Mary dies suddenly aged 60 years. (b.1870/40055 d.1930/8890)


Mary and William are buried at Port Molyneux cemetery.
